The Acquisition, effective 14 July 2023, compliments the existing solution offering of Smart IT and extends our footprint into pockets of the public sector, particularly the NHS where Opus VL has had significant success.
With the
transfer of the Opus VL Software Development Centre to Smart IT, this
purchase significantly bolsters, and compliments Smart IT’s technical
capability which is based on a UK-based, employee-only model to ensure
quality and project continuity.
Business as usual for Opus VL clients
It’s business as usual for existing clients of Opus VL. We intend to make no personnel changes and projects will continue to be supported as before. However, Opus VL client will now benefit from additional resources and capabilities of the Smart IT Group.
This is very much an opportunity for Opus VL clients to benefit from the infrastructure and experience of the UK’s largest Odoo partner. Smart IT gains some talented individuals and a range of new solutions such as the Flexibase Auction product.
