Growth for the first six months of Smart IT's 2020 financial year is up a record-breaking 75%.  This announcement follows a milestone year in 2019 where Smart IT’s revenue grew by 50%. 

 “Customers come to us for different reasons, but efficiency is their key driver. We’re proud to be able to provide solutions that scale with them, whether to handle finances, HR, manufacturing or managed IT services support,” explains Barry Bullen.

A number of new clients are seeing the  COVID-19 pandemic as the catalyst for change and an opportunity to embrace a new working model. “Through the power of Odoo ERP, they’ve ensured business continuity – ultimately accessing their business systems from anywhere and at any time,” notes Barry Bullen. 

In addition to its Odoo ERP work, Smart IT’s IT support services division has seen a huge uplift with switching on home working for clients. “Our largest recent project in this field was facilitating homeworking for over 600 agents. We are seeing growth in this area, not only setting up secure homeworking for multiple employees but supporting the infrastructure and service desk” explains Barry.

“Last year we set out the clear goal of tripling our turnover by 2024 and our performance to date this year indicates we could well smash that much sooner.”
